The Fenton Experience: Discover in-person and virtual appointments

Ever wondered what happens in a Fenton appointment? Read the blog to learn more!

At Fenton, the customer experience is at the heart of everything we do! Which is why we have a team of dedicated expert concierges who’re on hand to assist you at every step of the journey! And one of the key things which they do is hosting our appointments - be that virtual or in-person at our central London showroom! 


But what exactly is an appointment? How do you book? And what happens after the appointment?

How do I book a Fenton appointment?

Booking an appointment with us is super simple!

 

1. You can complete our 1-click booking form online! Simply choose your date and time and select virtual or in-person.

2. Call, Email, Whatsapp, DM - Simply contact the concierge team and they can book your appointment for you. 


How long will my appointment last?

We always reserve an hour for every appointment. This ensures you have plenty of time to view and try on all of the jewellery you want to and of course ask any questions which you may have. However, they can certainly be quicker! We’re super flexible to whatever your schedule is, so if you only have a quick 10 or 15 minutes, we can make that work too.

 

 

Can I bring people with me to my appointment?

Absolutely! Whether a partner, mum, sibling or friend - we love hosting you along with your loved ones in our showroom! Choosing your forever piece of jewellery is a wonderful experience to be able to share. Note, we do have a capacity of max four people at a time. 

 


Where do in-person appointments take place?

Our in-person appointment takes place in our beautiful showroom space, located in the heart of Mayfair - at 53 Duke Street.


What happens in an appointment?

When you arrive at 53 Duke Street, you will ring the buzzer and then your concierge will come down to greet you at the door. We will then welcome you into our exclusive showroom space in the heart of Mayfair.

The showroom takes inspiration from the brand’s heritage with classic British interior design, blended seamlessly with India influences. We invite all our guests to relax and make themselves at home in the space.

Based on what it is you’re looking for, your concierge will then show you an edit of the pieces we currently have available in our Treasure Box. We invite you to try on these pieces, as this is a great way to get a feel for which design and gemstone is perfect for you.  You will also be able to ask any questions which you may have. 



What is a virtual appointment?

A virtual appointment is similar to an in person one, the difference being that it happens from the comfort of your own home! So no matter where you are in the world, you can talk to you one of our gemstone experts. This happens via video call, be that on whatsapp, facetime or zoom - whichever way works best for you!

Your concierge will be able to try on the jewellery for you so you can visualise how it looks on hand or ears and compare different styles and sizes. And importantly, as with our in-person appointments, you will have the opportunity to ask as many questions as you like! 


Can I try on the jewellery during my appointment?

Absolutely! We welcome you to touch and try on the jewellery. This is a great way to discover the perfect style and gemstone for you!  After every appointment all of the jewellery is thoroughly cleaned and sanitised, so it is always safe to do so.

 




What size are the rings you have available in the showroom?

The majority of the rings in our Treasure Box are a size L and a half and the men’s bands are a size U. This is because these are the UK average ring sizes. However, we do have a smaller range of rings available to try in larger sizes.  And of course, all of the rings can of course be resized! 


Will you have the exact ring I’m interested in available for me to see?

We offer over 6,000+ jewellery combinations, so it’s not possible for us to have all of these in-stock at all times. However, we always endeavor to have a wide range so you should be able to see rings / earrings in the style and gemstone which you are interested in.

We also keep a good stock of our best selling designs such as the Emerald Trilogy and Blue Sapphire Vintage! 


What happens after the appointment?

After the appointment your concierge will follow up with the details discussed and a summary of the jewellery pieces which you loved! Sometimes this can be information on our bespoke process, timelines or additional photographs of a ring you are interested in.

We then welcome you to take the time you need, ask any follow up questions, and arrange a 2nd appointment if needed!

If you decide to proceed you can do this via the website, or equally over the phone with your concierge if this is preferred. 


How do I make a purchase? / Do I have to make a purchase?

There is never any pressure to make a purchase on the day of an appointment. We understood that our jewellery is often a deeply emotional purchase, and as such people typically need time to consider and reflect.

If you do decide to proceed at a later date, you can do so via the website or over the phone with your concierge. 


However if you do fall in love with a ring on the day and are ready to proceed, this is of course possible! Your concierge will simply input your order and you will be able to pay via debit or credit card. If you opt for a made-to-order piece, you can then expect to receive your ring in around 4 - 6 weeks, dependant upon your chosen style and gemstone.

Can I take my jewellery home the same day?

If you decide to purchase a piece of jewellery from the Treasure Box you are able to take this away with you on the day of the appointment, beautifully gift wrapped by your concierge! 

 


If the ring I buy needs resizing how long will this take? And will I need to come back to the showroom to collect it?

If you purchase a Treasure Box ring, but it is not the correct size for you we will arrange to have this resized. This process typically takes 5-7 days. After this you are welcome to visit us again at the showroom to collect your ring, or equally we are happy to deliver this to your address via our insured and tracked delivery.
